Job Vacancy: Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer
We currently have a vacancy for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join our Maintenance Team.
About the Role
The Maintenance Team support and maintain a range of blown film extruders of various sizes, converting machines, recycling machines, and a range of ancillary equipment such as chillers, air compressors, resin silos with blowers & connections to the extruders, inline printers, and inline embossing units.
The Maintenance Team also covers the building and services, and we also have a number of contractors and service partners who support the maintenance activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a proven Maintenance Technician, you will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant, which will require you to have experience of supporting plant and equipment within either a manufacturing, process or production environment.
Skills & Experience
You must hold formal Electrical qualifications to either a City & Guilds Level or NVQ standard, and ideally be apprentice trained. The role will require you to have core electrical and reasonable mechanical abilities, allied to PLC fault finding skills. You don’t have to be the finished article, as we are really looking for somebody with the right mindset and attitude.
Location
This position is located at our main site at Stopgate Lane, Aintree, Liverpool, Merseyside, L9 6DX.
Working Hours
The normal hours of work are 42 hours per week, 8am-5pm from Monday to Thursday, and 8am-4:30pm on Friday, with a 30 minute unpaid break each day. The normal hours are not variable, however, the successful candidate may be required to work additional hours when authorised and as necessitated by the needs of the business.
