Our Fundraising Week for Mental Health Awareness

We've kicked off our fundraising week dedicated to supporting the Mental Health Foundation with a successful cake sale. Thanks to the hard work of Sam and Laura, the event drew a fantastic turnout. It was wonderful to see so many of us gathering in the meeting room, chatting, and donating to this important cause.
Throughout the week, we've planned various activities to engage everyone and raise awareness about mental health. Here are some highlights:
Monday:
We started the week with a vibrant cake sale in the boardroom. Many of us baked and donated cakes, and there was a prize for the best homemade creation. Tea, coffee, and cold drinks were also available, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Tuesday:
We held a Well Being Committee Meeting at 11 AM in the boardroom. This session provided a great opportunity for us to share our ideas on enhancing workplace well-being.
Wednesday:
Scott Griffin, our Operations Manager, and Paul White, our Warehouse Manager, generously offered to wash our cars on the premises for a small donation. This event was a hit and provided a fun break in our workweek while supporting a great cause.
Thursday:
We showed our support for Mental Health Awareness Week by participating in Wear it Green Day. Many of us put on green attire to promote mental health awareness.
Friday:
The week concluded with motivational cards being distributed throughout the day. We also held a much-anticipated raffle draw, with prizes including Tesco and Odeon Cinema vouchers, as well as wine and chocolate.
Throughout the week, mental health awareness pins were available for just £1 each, with all proceeds going to the Mental Health Foundation.
We’re incredibly proud of the community spirit and generosity we've shown during this fundraising week. Our efforts not only support a crucial cause but also reinforce our commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace environment.
