Job Vacancy: Team Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role includes responsibility for the supervision of team operators in conforming with Health and safety, Product Safety, Product Quality, and Environmental procedures, and the production of, Polyolefin film products to the required customer specification on production line(s).
- Manages team members to meet the requirements production output and operational efficiencies.
- Provides clear and confident directions to team members.
- Develops both individual and team objectives.
- Develops team flexibility across the extrusion department using the shift skills matrix to identify training needs.
- Completion of duties in a safe and responsible manner and in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, making recommendations for improvement through Health & Safety meetings as appropriate.
- Promptly notifies mangers if the product is out of specification, or there are doubts around final/end use performance or product safety.
- Participates in risk assessments related to health and safety, product safety, and contributes to the design and issue of related Task Cards/SOP’s to their team members.
- Completion of ad-hoc duties to meet the needs of the business subject to the appropriate training.

Skills & Experience
The following qualifications, skills and experience are desirable:
- Level 3 NVQ/SNVQ Blown Film Process.
- Previous experience of Team Supervision (optimum 5 years).
- IOSH Managing Safely/Working Safely.
- Five years proven experience in a shift working experience in a plastics extrusion manufacturing environment (or similar).
- Product Safety, Hygiene, and environmental awareness training.
- RITIB FLT License.
- Current FAAW Certificate.
Location
This position is located at our main factory site at Stopgate Lane, Aintree, Liverpool, Merseyside, L9 6DX.
Working Hours
- The hours of work are 42 hours per week, averaged over 8 weeks, working day and night shifts as per the shift pattern ('4-on and 4-off’) between Monday and Sunday.
- Day shifts are from 8am to 8pm, and night shifts are from 8pm to 8am.
Salary & Prospects
- The successful candidate can expect to receive a competitive salary based on their level of experience.
- There is an attendance bonus currently in place that is worth up to 8 shifts of pay at the end of the year for 100% attendance.
- Salaries can be paid weekly or monthly, depending on an employee's preference.

- A paid holiday entitlement of 20 working days, plus 8 public/bank holidays, per year.
