Biodegradable Collation Shrink Films for Microbreweries

Microbreweries have become increasingly popular over recent years with purveyors and connoisseurs of real ales demanding higher quality natural ales brewed in the old fashioned, handcrafted manner.

We were approached by one of our customers who brewed real ales using traditional methods with natural organic hops, malt and spring water, to see if we could further enhance their brand and ethos by using biodegradable Collation Shrink Films for their packaging.

Our biodegradable shrink films and packaging films are manufactured using high clarity virgin grade polymers, producing either clear or coloured opaque films to suit our customers’ brand and identity. The shrink film offers high yield, strength and performance, and being recyclable, is perfect for the standards and demands within the food and drink industry.

Working with our customer’s marketing team, we looked to enhance their offering and developed a film that had the necessary shrink ratios and clarity requirements to satisfy their manufacturing demands, and developed a high-performance film that exceeded their expectations. And above all, it was biodegradable.
