Job Vacancy: Conversion Operator

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for setting up machines.
• Maintaining quality whilst running jobs.
• Ensuring the ‘clean as you go’ policy is adopted at all times.
• Follow all Health & Safety guidelines laid out by the company.
• Complete all necessary training via company training manuals and the Task Card Matrix.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Previous experience gained within an extrusion facility and/or packaging experience.
• Basic Health & Safety awareness training.

Location

This position is located at our main site at Stopgate Lane, Aintree, Liverpool, Merseyside, L9 6DX.

Working Hours

• The normal hours of work are 42 hours per week, 8am-5pm from Monday to Thursday, and 8am-4:30pm on Friday, with a 30 minute unpaid break each day.
• The normal hours are not variable, however, the successful candidate may be required to work additional hours when authorised and as necessitated by the needs of the business.

Salary & Benefits

• The successful candidate can expect to receive a competitive salary based on their level of experience.
• Overtime pay will be at a rate of time and a half.
• Starting annual leave is 20 days plus bank holidays.

We also manufacture a wide range of converted products suitable for many industrial applications. Aintree Plastics supply all market sectors including the printer, converter, distributor alongside direct end users.
