COVID-19 Statement - 25th March 2020
Aintree Plastics continues to operate as normal, as per the latest government guidance.
Since the beginning of March, we have experienced increased business disruption due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
This pandemic threatens every facet of the normal business process, including:
- Raw Material availability and pricing
- Logistics (not enough transportation available)
- Workforce
Aintree Plastics has been able to limit these disruptions to a minimum by applying its Business Continuity Plan, however, the impact on our business may start to grow.
There are undoubtedly potential risks to our ability to supply goods and services, but there are no immediate risks to outstanding POs/forecasted requirements. We have ample materials, labour and resources to satisfy the current demand.
However, the situation is fluid and fast changing, therefore we are regularly updating our existing continuity plans, taking into consideration the changing situation and the information released by the government.
If there is a significant change, or risk to supply, we will inform customers about the steps we will take in response to this.
We are committed to working with customers on a case by case basis, in order to limit the impact for them. Our Sales team are ready to help and assist you where possible. We would recommend that customers contact their usual representatives for any questions they may have.
